DESIGN FILEAMBER | PATTERN & PRINT DEVELOPMENT
From Idea to Fabric.
A successful pattern must do more than look attractive. It must work with the fabric, color, print process, repeat scale, finished product and bulk-production conditions. Amber connects design, color, process selection, fabric sampling and production so brand ideas become commercially workable textiles.
START FROM WHAT YOU HAVE
You do not need a complete production file for the first discussion. The clearer the available references, the faster we can define pattern, process and sampling direction.
Start from AI, PSD, PDF or another artwork file and refine size, color, repeat and production details.
DESIGN FILERedevelop the pattern direction from a photograph, reference image, mood board or similar product.
VISUAL REFERENCECreate an original direction around brand identity, theme, market, season and product use.
BRAND CONCEPTAnalyze the artwork, repeat, color and process to define a close reproduction or redesign route.
FABRIC SAMPLEYou provide the idea. We help turn it into production-ready fabric.
PATTERN DESIGN & REDEVELOPMENT
We develop more than a visual file. Repeat joins, print process, fabric compatibility and bulk repeatability are considered during design.
Create original artwork around brand positioning, target market, seasonal theme and product use.
Adjust scale, spacing, repeat, direction, proportion, background color and brand elements for different products.
Develop and shortlist colorways from Pantone references, color cards, physical samples, brand colors or seasonal direction before fabric sampling.
MULTIPLE PRINTING TECHNOLOGIES
Each process has a practical range. Color count, image definition, order scale, hand feel and repeat-order plans all influence the choice.
Well suited to multicolor, gradient, complex or photographic artwork, rapid sampling, short runs and new-product trials.
Designed for medium-to-large volumes, continuous repeats and long-term programs where efficiency and unit cost matter.
Suitable for medium quantities, larger motifs and specific color effects, with flexibility for fabric and target hand feel.
Places artwork at a defined position and adjusts it to the pattern piece, dimensions and sewing construction.
FABRIC MATTERS
Fiber, ground color, yarn structure, weight and pre- or post-treatment affect shade, definition, penetration, hand feel and fastness. The process must match the actual fabric.
Select a suitable dye or pigment print route according to the fabric and project requirement.
Match the print and finishing method to fiber, construction and end use.
Confirm fiber behavior, color result, fastness target and product application together.
Balance how each fiber influences coloration, definition, hand feel and finishing.
FROM DESIGN TO PRODUCTION
Design, fabric and process results are approved before the next stage. The final customer-approved fabric sample becomes the bulk-production reference.
Share artwork, images, brand style, Pantone references, mood board or product use.
Develop or refine artwork, repeat joins and colorway options.
Select the method by fabric, quantity, complexity, budget and target effect.
Confirm color, scale, definition, hand feel and overall appearance on actual fabric.
Refine feedback and lock the final pattern, colorway, fabric and process standard.
Produce to the approved sample while monitoring color, repeat and print quality.
SAMPLE BEFORE PRODUCTION
A color on screen is not the final fabric color. Ground shade, fiber, yarn, weight, ink, print method, finishing and monitor settings can all change the result.
Approve the real fabric before bulk production.
WE CARE ABOUT PRODUCTION FEASIBILITY
A visually strong design is not automatically suitable for industrial production. Development must assess fabric, process, cost, production efficiency and quality stability together.
Pattern, color, scale and brand expression.
Fiber, construction, ground color, weight and hand feel.
Color count, definition, penetration and production method.
Quantity, screens, materials, processing and waste.
Approved samples, color standards, repeats and process records.
Shade, placement, fastness, hand feel and batch consistency.
Develop printed fabric that can be produced reliably, reordered consistently and sold with confidence.
PRIVATE LABEL & BRAND DEVELOPMENT
For apparel, home textile, design-studio and long-term sourcing programs, one pattern can grow into multiple colorways, fabrics and seasonal collections, supported by retained artwork and production records.
YOUR IDEA DOES NOT NEED TO BE PERFECT
Send a design file, reference image, Pantone color, mood board, garment reference or target style. Amber will help develop the pattern, colorway, print process and physical fabric sample.
